Renee Stephenson

Director of Operations

As the Founder and Director of Operations, Renee Stephenson is the driving force behind Pointer Logistics success. Starting the company in 2018 with just one truck and trailer, she quickly built a reputation for reliability and excellence in transporting oil field equipment. Today, the company has grown to a dedicated team of 15 drivers, all working together to deliver superior service to clients.

With a Bachelor's of Science in Counseling and an Associate's in Chemistry, Renee Stephenson combines a strong work ethic, a passion for customer service, and a commitment to building a top-tier team. Her determination to succeed and focus on quality has been integral to the company's rapid growth and continued success. In 2025, she will be pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration to further enhance her skills and drive the company’s future growth.

Alex Stephenson

Director of Logistics

Alex is a Texas native and has a degree in IT Network Specialist along with numerous industry certifications. He brings a strong technical background and over 8 years of experience assisting large Title Companies in South Texas. Alex's expertise in IT infrastructure, systems integration, and problem-solving has been a key asset in optimizing business operations and ensuring seamless communication within fast-paced environments.

Since transitioning to the transportation industry in 2019, Alex has applied his technology-driven skills to streamline logistics operations at Pointer Logistics. As Director of Logistics, Alex has leveraged his technical expertise to improve operational efficiency, implement robust systems for tracking and delivery, and ensure that all logistics processes align with the company’s strategic goals. Alex's experience managing complex systems and processes in the Title industry has provided him with the tools to drive innovative solutions and enhance logistics performance in the trucking sector.

Tristan Klinetobe

Director of Safety

With a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technology Management and over 13 years of experience in the aviation industry, Tristan brings a strong foundation in technical management, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance to his current role as Director of Safety at Pointer Logistics.  Tristans career in aviation forcused on flight simulation manufacturing and maintenance, where he honed skills in precision, attention to detail, and risk management--key elements that he now applies to ensure safety standards in the trucking industry.

Since transitioning to trucking in 2022, Tristan has leveraged his expertise in safety and compliance to become a certified DOT commercial vehicle inspector.  In addition to overseeing safety protocols, Tristan serves as the company's DOT Compliance Officer, ensuring full adherence to all regulations and standards.  Tristans blend of aviation and trucking industry experience allows him to approch safety management with a unique, systems-driven perspective that enhances operational efficiency and reduces risk at Pointer Logistics.
